Become a Registrar

To become a registrar for the .IRISH TLD, you should first be ICANN accredited under the 2013 ICANN Registrar Accreditation Agreement. Our Registry Services Provider is Afilias. If you already have a relationship with Afilias for another TLD, then this is likely to be a familiar, quick, and easy process for you via the Afilias Online Registrar Management System (ORMS). If you are not currently engaged with Afilias, please email us and we will be happy to arrange this for you.

1. The Accreditation Process

Accreditation takes place via the online registrar management system (ORMS) provided by our Registry Services Provider, Afilias. After logging into ORMS you will be able to follow a simple step-by-step process for accreditation.

You will need to supply a copy of your certificate of Insurance and complete and execute the Registry-Registrar Agreement (RRA), along with Registrar Data Form & Financial Information Form.

3. Technical Certification

Complete the Operational Test and Evaluation certification process (OT&E). Please note if you have already completed OT&E for other gTLDs that Afilias supports, you will not need to complete OT&E testing again.
